For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
Over the history of Providence we have been a part of several different missions locally and abroad. Providence was actually located on the west end of Washington in it's beginning as a mission based church. In keeping with God's commands given to us in scripture, Providence has continued to show the love of God and speak the Gospel to many in the forms of mission work. We have participated in local missions with Feed My Sheep, Heaven's Kitchen, and many different occasions of fulfilling physical needs. We have also been all across the United States in places like Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Ohio, and many more. Most notably Providence has been very involved in a mission organization called Casas Por Cristo. This is an organization that allows you to travel to countries like Mexico, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic and build houses for people who need them. We are currently planning a trip to Nicaragua for 2020.
